This is what I have put my hair through the last three years. It feels good that I no longer feel the need to wear my wigs in the shower, to bed, to walk the dog, to the gym, to the store…to my grave. I love that I finally love myself…I’m enough.
My dog has destroyed 2 plastic 1 metal and 1 homade (plywood) crates. I have been told this is from seperation anxiety. How do I treat this with out doggy prozaic? I would rather something natural than deal with pills. He is a 3 yr old Britney who for 6 out of 7 days will lay at the foot of our bed while home alone but that 7th day of terrorizing the trash can and the babies toy box keeps him in the kennel/crate while we aren’t home. He will lay in there while we are home and the door is open but goes ballistic when we arent around. I now use a heavy duty and modified metal crate that looks like a jail cell.
Ok, long story short, my own cat passed on about 6 months ago, my brother is out on his own and he and half his roommates had to move to a new apartment that only allowed 2 cats and his roommates already had 2. My house is full of dogs but the dogs are not allowed into my room. My brother gives the cat (Shadow) to me to watch until he gets a place of his own as the only other option would be to give her away to a shelter or something. Thing is, Shadow hates me even though I’ve never done anything to her. The only time she actually liked me and allowed me to pet her was whenever she was in heat, but she is fixed now. She’s been in my room for about 2 weeks now. The litterbox is on the other side of the room from her food and water, she has toys including catnip ones. I’m gone at school most of the day which matters little as if I give her any attention or try to show affection, she freaks and attacks me. I know she’s not playing as she hisses and growls at me and hides under the bed. I scope the litter box every 3-4 days but I’ve noticed there was no urine from the last change and there is an odor in my room that was not present a couple of days ago and I can find no other source. I believe she is peeing under my bed but I’m not sure what to do about it. We are taking about a cat if I so much as walk past to close to her she gets upset and she is very defensive around the area she uses to get under my bed. Just this morning she got pissed off at me, just because I filled up her food container which is one of those auto feeder ones that last awhile. Every now and then she will rub up on me, but if I such much as make a move to touch her she will growl and bite me then run under the bed and hide there for half an hour before coming back out again. Trying to get under the bed is out of the question unless I want a clawed up face and I’m not to keen on trying to grab her (with a towel, blanket, or otherwise) so I can look under the bed. My room is carpeted, the dogs don’t like cats, Shadow doesn’t like the dogs and as far as I can tell Shadow is a Bombay cat but the only person she has ever liked is my brother. No one else. She has her own food and water dishes that she’s always had, I had to reuse my old cats box but for the past 6 months before I got Shadow, it was out in the backyard exposed to the elements. Cat toys are recycles but she rarely plays with them opting for little odds and ends on my floor. Only once has she slept in my bed with me and it was only for a few hours in the morning before she got down when I was waking up. I don’t want to get rid of her (for my brothers sake as it would break his heart and he’s already in the hospital) but I can’t just ignore this for 2-4 months or however long it takes for my bro to get a place of his own. Ideas?

Her own clothes (special occasions, winer, summer, etc)
Her own dog run
a leather pink collar with silver bones on it (15 dollars)
Her bed looks like a mini couch with one cushion
gets to go on walks ALL the time!
